Eli Whiteside?

I have no idea on why we might be signing Eli Whiteside. We have many other catchers on the Giants for example, we have Buster Posey who has been able to recover most of his injury, Hector Sanches a top prospect in the Giants organization, and Chris Stewert. Chris Stewert has a great arm and a very fast release time. Buster Posey, well we all know him, and Hector Sanches, he can hit. So do you think we should be resigning Eli Whiteside?
